Gazebo Express masthead design and newsletter creation for the Town of Highland, Indiana.
This is the first edition of the Gazebo Express newsletter collaboration. The masthead design is a simplified modification of Highland’s Town Council Campaign materials created in 2007. The gazebo serves as an iconic symbol for the Town of Highland signage and is physically represented in the Main Park Square, the hub of community activities and social gatherings.
My suggestion for the title “Gazebo” in context to the masthead design and historic symbolism is a natural pairing. This newsletter is economically constructed as a four page layout restricted to spot color printing in Pantone Reflex Blue and black.
The newsletter required many edits on an extremely tight deadline coordinating with the copywriter and print vendor.
